Can anyone advise me how to solve my boiler problem, when i turn the hot water tap on the water comes out luke warm the thermostat reads 40 degrees. If i trickle the water out of the tap then it gets hotter and the thermostat reads 70 degrees. The central Heating is fine

probably a part blocked dhw heat ex

The heat exchanger is fine but have noticed that the central heating pipe gets hotter than the DHW pipe when the CH is off and the hot water is running. Am i right in thinking this is a diverter valve problem and if so are the repairable or does it require a new valve unit.

you should be able to get a new diaphram for the diverter reletavly cheap, should do the trick

If the CH is getting hot on HW demand, the DV has stuck mid position, so needs replacing.

The diaphragm only triggers the HW, not sends it different ways.
