3 phase supply to an estate agents

Where is the running man legend on the emergency light pointing, to a brick wall?
I'd have liked to see the L&N tails in the same hole entering the switchfuse or the two holes joined together.
I also like to see a little bit of the inner sheath of the SWA poking through the gland into the enclosure.

I would insist on that! Had not noticed that when I looked this morning!

A 25mm brass bush, locknut or ring and female bush would be my choice.

Carlsberg don't do shonky air con installs but if they did they would probably be the most shonky air con installs in the world!

Probably the most shonky air con install ive seen for a while, from the electrical side anyway. Tails into the switchfuse through separate holes is just plain bad and shows a complete lack of knowledge or pure laziness, you decide which. Non MK mcb's in an MK board, and C10!! sound a bit on the small side to me unless these are very small AC units. As already mentioned not enough cleats on the SWA and not run very neatly inside or out. What worries me the most is your being paid to install this, or at least your company is. I think if i ever need to have some AC installed i'll use someone else thanks.

Just make sure the chairs, filing cabinets and desks are securely connected to fused circuits. And then replace all fuses by the correct diameter steel rod.

I guess you reckon this should be the standard furniture in such offices: :D

Wiring to condenser unit: Is that SWA with the ends of the armor just left loose and taped up? :?

Sorry, I have to agree that for a commercial install, that is really not good :?

I thought you'd done some work in Co-ops Rob. Seen far worse than this done by refrigeration engineers

230v refrigerant valve, open to the cellar with its live terminals simply wrapped in tape, in very easy reach.
SWA draped across false ceilings.
SWA terminated to metal cconduit, conduit cover missing.
New aquamat pump installed under an open front fridge. new flex joined to old using choc blocks and taped up (resting on floor which was previously 5mm deep in water due to old aquamat failing).
"Engineer" turned up to replace compressor in island freezer, pulled out the gear tray, started welding. Then theres these thick black soot bits over everything and a disgusting smell. He tells me its the refrigerant burning off. FFS what bull. The refrigerant should have been evacuated first. Think he was sacked after I phoned his office.
On a non-electrical point, condensate pipes directed into a standpipe in a gents toilet, the standpipe tapped off a main drain pipe with no U bend.
