Don't particularly like the thought of either of those being near the CU. Especially the coax.

I don't see it as a safety issue, but an interference one. Probably not that big an issue with the cat5e, but the coax..

My first experience a couple of years ago with that stuff will be my last, I filled an external gap left by a 'plumber' who installed a new bathroom waste for a shower, I did a nice neat, flush fill too.Expanding foam![]()
