B&Q wont deliver plasterboard as far as I can see when you shop online it doesnt give you any option to have it delivered - book&reserve only

can anyone recommend somewhere that delivers?
I live in Blaydon area (Gateshead/Newcastle)

cheers

I personally get all mine from Wickes, they've been alright. The one time they did cock up a delivery, they offered a subsequent free delivery and 10% discount on the order in compensation.

B&Q stores will be able to deliver plasterboard, along with price matching and discounts for 5 or 10 of certain types

how do I ordered it online to be delivered? or do you have to do it all instore?
when shop online at B&Q it disables delivery when you peruse the plasterboard and add to "shopping list"

Just as long as you don't mind their extortionate delivery charges (unless your buying a hundred or so).
Local builders merchants are the place to go.

BTW, Our local B&Q offer free delivery on orders over £400, Wickes are free over £45.

how do I ordered it online to be delivered?

Remember those days in the past when we actually used to go out to shops and stuff?

Don't be tempted by the [expensive] packs of nails or screws by the tills though, which they put there for impulse buying by the unwary

aye I will give em a ring before going to see if they will deliver - it says £5 for anything up to £100 delivered on their webiste, but like I say theres no options for delivery with plasterboard - almost as if its because its a large item? and they wont deliver that at their set prices... (cheap and BIG) , I just need scrim tape - and Im just gunna screw it up on ceiling and one wall - dot&dab on others

The deliveries of products from the website comes by courier via their distribution centres. The deliveries of their building materials comes direct from their outlets.
