A drift is used to open the ends of tube to form a socket,a kingsley tool is a manipulative tool to form a ring in the tube to create a raised surface to form a seal against a fitting/valve.they were also used in high rise buildings on water services to prevent valves blowing off due to the pressure again i think the fittings were phased out in the early eighties![]()
