So, he's well up himself, arn't all DJ's? "give yourselves a big round of applause", and we all do. Sad.
Could be worse, Mike Read for example, or, Smashy&nicey, or DLT, or, Simon Dee, or, adnausium

Put it this way... I don't care that he wears his dead mothers dresses, each to their own.

Develop the technique of DJ Deafness and just listen to the music.
If the music is to your taste you can easily blank out the inane chatter the DJ spouts out. Learnt it the hard way when my mum used to listen to Terry Wogan and Jimmy Young years ago.
As for DLT, about the only decent one left from that old bunch.

get yourself an internet radio,
you then get to listen to what you want from werever in the world, away from the above DJ`s
works for me!!
a bit pricey tho, but its worth it>
in the office i have a digital radio, not bad, good music, if you hunt for it.
