My machine stopped mid cycle wouldn't pump out water, showing flashing lights on left side and power button flashing as well, read several posts on here and removed drain pipe found loads of coins and crap unblocked the black pipe. put it back together again and it did the same thing again does this mean the pump is gone or this pcb i hear everyone talking about. Does the pump stop automatically if it is blocked or has my running the cycle again and trying the pump out cycle burnt the pump out and if so what are the signs i should be looking for. Dont wanna buy pump to find out its pcb

Did you check the actual pump impeller has not got something jamming it, quite common.

Nope not a pcb fault 2 and 4 mean pump blocked. You still have a blockage in pump / waste pipe / sump pipe.

taken apart again and flooded the floor but it might be the white thingy behind the sump plug whioch i put back in incorrectly(ithink) which could have stopped the pump turning so I have removed it and put it all back together again and started another cycle fingers crossed but i'm satisfied no blockage anywhere

Fixed it was the white thingy blocking the pump

thanks everyone

hi i hope someone can help,

i have wf541 which intermitantly would not start wash and rinse hold light would flash but could use fine after waiting a while and it completes the wash with rinse hold light flickering. then it died completely after 2 weeks and no lights at all.

So i got a new main pcb and now the power light comes on and got it to work once but the rinse light still flashed, now it has power light only and pressing any of the buttons do nothing at all. if i unplug it and turn back on the power light and rinse light are on solid and still no response from any button. if i turn off and on again just power light solid buttons not responding again etc etc

i have checked motor brushes and pressure switch and filter all ok.

could it be top pcb board or something else? any help apreciated thanks

forgot to say the new pcb was second hand from working machine.

when it was washing with the new pcb the buttons did not work you could not cancel or turn off or anything. now with just power light solid, if i disconnect display panel and then reconnect both the power and rinse hold light are on solid, still no buttons work at all

That pcb needs to be reprogram to that model. Some have welded drums some split drums. Diff com codes on that mc as well. Cos it's same model pcbs are prog Differently.

ok thanks so even if from same model machine it still needs reprogram? can old one be repaired or where can i reprogram new one thanks

Only company I know is emw in Nottingham. They will need all the numbers on the mc. Serial no. Commercial code and model number. Give them the old pcb. That's the one for the mc.

Ok thanks will look into it. i think I have found the problem, if I bend the circuit board behind the buttons slightly, the machine works fine and allows me to start the program, maybe dodgy circuit board? So might be worth getting a new top board as well.
