My understanding was that the low-pressure switch was one of the three forms of protection for a sealed system

The required protection you may have in mind, is for all sealed systems to have a manually resetable overheat stat on the boiler. There is no need for a pressure switch.

Apart from the Vizo and Performa I cannot think of any more recent boiler with a manually resettable stat ???

My understanding was that the low-pressure switch was one of the three forms of protection for a sealed system, as with a unvented cylinders??
Don't ask me what regulation sealed central heating systems would fall under, I've not a clue.

Your best joke yet Dick

We haven't laughed so much since your wife died

I think you should wait till after May Tony, when we can get a meal with Dan, Razor etc organized

Whatever date suits the majority of RGIs.

Indian meals can usually be organised on the day!

Its probably best if Andrew suggests a date but not the 12th though as I think Scruff is busy then.

Tony

i can do anything from the middle of may onwards, but nothing sooner.

The sooner the better so we can go and instal those boilers, get the mug, jacket and a 10 year guarantee!

Currently I am working on the 17th of march which gas4you is booked on. If this is too soon I also have dates on 7th April and May 12th.

Let me know.
