i am after all sizes 1.2w plus
i want bayonet for normal replacement
i want to try and avoid the silvery glow that some give out
would like 5w plus preferably more than 150 lumens would be great
any ideas or links

thanks toor and foxhole much appreciated

exactly what i am looking for

whilst the aim is to be green and save money and the planet
because i have low energy bulbs the savings will be small at say 18w per hour per bulb as opposed to a 23w le bulb

so assuming an average 6 hrs a day and a unit costing 12p per kw that's about 40 units a year saved so approaching £5 a year so around 4 years pay back
i suspect the price off the bulbs will drop by around 25% a year so 2012=£13.50 2013=£10 2014=£7.50
at that rate next price drop would be a good time to buy

i think i will buy one anyway as i need some 45mm wooden knobs from tool station any way

and off course anybody replacing a 100w normal bulb with one off these will get pay back in one year at 6 hrs a day

i will let you know tomorow iff they give a 100w or a 60w a run for the money

dont like the silver glow that some give out so which one should i buy cool white or warm white ??

Don't buy from topledsupplier or ledlightsliving - they are scam merchants and will steal your money.

anern is a liar and a thief, and his whole country is barbaric.

My link from china isnt. I paid with paypal but not including ebay and got good quiality lights at a very good price. The £60 postage is about right too as I have sent stuff to south africa and it cost the buyer that.

All I am trying to tell you is not everyting from china is a scam if you find the right people. I will use them again and again. The price for stuff like this is way too high over here and they will get them from china.

ok bulb arrived today the origional bulb was a 16w le bulb so around 65w and the new 7w as on box claims to be 60w and thats a good comparason
i wouldn't buy another at £18 but am perfectly happy with this one would consider at £12 as the saving then are about 4 years over a le bulb

but all in all subdued lighting rather than bright

China is meeting a demand that consumers have created.

A demand for cheap disposal items that need not last for long as they will soon be out of fashion and will have to be replaced by the next msut have version.

If it only needs a short working life and has to be cheap then the quality can drop to rock bottom.

That ethic has migrated in almost all areas of manufacturing.

Quality and long life times are not part of modern mass produced cheap goods.

Sad but true.
