£250 for kit that i could buy locally for £175ish mugs on every corner!!

Only 10 socket outlets for an entire house?
200 screws and only 100 plugs for them?
Loads of other stuff missing.

Caveat emptor and all that - if people are so daft as to buy without doing proper research then that's their lookout.
I've often seen people paying more on eBay than they'd pay to buy new from a proper retailer.
I've sold stuff on fleabay with a price tag clearly visible, for more than the price shown on the tag, plus postage. There are some very impulsive buyers about!
I've sometimes messaged buyers when I've seen it.
It's amazing what paroxysms of rage people get into if you just send them a link to Amazon, or Screwfix, or wherever, showing a lower price than what they just paid. They sometimes react as if somehow I'm to blame for their lack of attention...
