Plane crashes into empty houses in Salford

So a light aircraft crashes, and people are amused by people being half burned to death?

Those people need to really get a life...

With respect, no one has mocked these people nor their injuries.

I'm sorry? Did you not bother to read the post? A member named Alarm, posted with disrespect, then told someone else off for their comments...

You amaze me, how short sighted you are!

Thank you moderator 10. I was struggling to understand where he was getting his information from. So mickymoody, far from being short sighted, I had not read the post as it was not in existence when I was around. I accept your apology though, since you were basing your comments on mis-information and assumptions.

Anyhow, the news today is that the 59 year old who was involved has sadly passed away, but the younger gentleman is still hanging in there. A moment's pause out of respect, if you please.

Thankyou, I think? My respects to the family of the deceased, and the family of the person fighting for his life, and Family. Apparently the thread name is slightly incorrect, as the houses hit, were occupied at the time of the impact, and those homeowners attempted to quell the blaze, before firefighters got to the scene..

It makes the earlier posts rather shallow now. Which I did point out at the time, and was critisised for doing.

When driving over the Barton bridge, the planes are very low, so how low must they fly over these houses? I believe Alan Sugar also had a crash in his plane there too, a few years ago. But authorities say the airfield was there before the houses, so get over it. Typical.

Never knew that about Alan Sugar. You are correct about Barton Bridge . The aerodrome is just opposite Macro if my memory is correct, and the crash site itself is only a few miles away from the site of that house "gas" explosion in Irlam earlier this year. Starting to seem a bit of a jinxed area.

59 year old Ian Dalglish the pilot of the plane has died from his injuries, Joel McNicholls age 19 who was the passenger is in hospital with serious burns.
Contrary to opinion the place where the plane came down is in a nice area.
