Saying that, theres many native english who cannot speak english properly. Have you ever walked around some housing estates and heard the aweful manner in which some people speak? using vulgar language etc? These people speak 1 language and speak it poorly.
This is an example of local colloquial differences in dialect. Are you honestly trying to tell us Naz that if one visited different areas within and city within any country that there won't be pockets of peoples which demonstrate precisely the same tendencies?

We should do immigration swapsies

We take one of your highly motivated workers and you take one of our lazy work shy chavs

Like an exchange programme

A few years living in a country with low or no benefit system would be a valuable lesson for them

no i'm not saying this. People will have different levels of ability to speak a particular language. My issue is though, that those who speak out about others lack of strong english often overlook the fact that many in england have a poor grasp of english, even though its their mother tongue.

That's because they are racist idiots

For which I blame, in no small way, the pathetic Soaps we have where bickering and bad language is thought to be the norm by young impressionable minds and parental abdication of responsibility for their offspring.

BTW. Is everyone here unemployed? I’ve never known such a lively forum during work hours.

Agree absolutely 100% on that one ...... there is maybe a time and a place for it, but not the constant bombardment that we get on TV.
I absolutely hate bad language ..... I hate to hear parents using foul language talking to their kids ....which now seems the norm.
Call me old fashioned but its totally unacceptable here in our home .... I have two sons but they both know that and totally respect it.

It's the biggest social issue since the war. When you lose your job or your kids can't get one then maybe you'll change your tune.
As I say, we have done it to ourselves. I mangaged to find an old email which is perhaps too close to the truth to be funny.

Ron Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock

(MADE IN JAPAN ) for 6am.
While his coffeepot
(MADE IN CHINA )

was perking, he shaved with his electric razor
(MADE IN HONG KONG ).

He put on a dress shirt
(MADE IN SRI LANKA ),

designer jeans
(MADE IN SINGAPORE )

and tennis shoes
(MADE IN KOREA )

After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet
(MADE IN INDIA )

he sat down with his calculator
(MADE IN MEXICO )

to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch
(MADE IN TAIWAN )

to the radio
(MADE IN INDIA )

he got in his car
(MADE IN GERMANY )

filled it with PETROL
(from Saudi Arabia )

and continued his search for a good paying BRITISH JOB.

At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day checking his Computer
(Made In Malaysia ),

Ron decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals
(MADE IN BRAZIL )

poured himself a glass of wine
(MADE IN FRANCE )

and turned on his TV
(MADE IN INDONESIA ),

and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in BRITAIN .....

If you lose your job and your kids cannot get work there is a pattern and it's got nothing to do with polish people.
It's because you are thick and unemployable, and so are your kids.

There is plenty of work.

you really do talk out of your arse at times! try living in the real world in a city where the immigrant outnumbers the british 2 to 1! being in Suffolk you have no idea what its really like in towns where immigrants have taken over! 15% of the population of Southampton are Polish! and our youngsters cannot get jobs because of all the foreigners that already have all the jobs.

I didnt live in Suffolk all my life. And I stand by what I said, of you are struggling to get a job it's not the fault of immigrants, there is plenty of work out there.
Perhaps not as well paid as you would like but money and profit does not discriminate.

15% does not outnumber 85% 2 - 1.
