The world is angry because the rich are causing mayhem but the poor are being penalised.
I guess we would ALL like to be rich.
Would folk settle for ALL of us being poor instead...?

Ahh but the flaw there is , some of us would be more equal than others.

But did you know that if more societies burned environmentalists instead of coal, CO2 emissions could be cut by up to 40%? And the resource would last longer

Consider these two facts:
1) There were two 'world' wars in the previous century.
2) The 'world' has a good chance of existing for another 45 million centuries.
Based on those figures, I'd say that a third world war is pretty much inevitable. What I can't predict is when it will happen and who - or what - will fight it. A lot can happen in 4,500 million years. The protagonists might be a different species altogether. They might be intelligent machines. Or they might be fungi and bacteria squabbling over the decaying mass of human remains after we've stripped the planet bare of all plant life.

The point is that until recently, and i mean 100 years or so, we didn't have jet power, or nuclear power, so the world was a lot bigger.. but now we can get round the world in a day, and we have enough arms collectively to destroy it in about an hour !
4000 years ago a world war was a nonsense idea, as the world was a year away...
Of course there will be a WW3. Humans are basically greedy, different and intollerant !!! QED !!
