It isnt a racist slur Joe, you may be offended by being called a Pomme, people are offended by many different things, but calling someone a Pomme is not racism.
The word is used everyday in Australia, on TV in Adverts...Its the same as calling an American a Yank etc

Joe, it is all to do with derogatory malice terms to someone from a country or nation that they disliked. years ago people called anyone with dark skin colour a P***. This was intent to show they had no liking for them. The word is only a shortened version of the country name.
The same applies to the Scottish, the Swedish etc. We call them swedes and scots and there is no malice or racial intent towards them at all.
You have to look at the reasoning of why the words where first used. If people of the past had no hatred of any type towards people from Pakistan, then saying the word P*** would be used today in general, the same as scots, swedes etc......you have to look deeper into why the words where used in the first place.
I never said she didnt mention immigrants, she did and it was clear. Her opinions on immigration are hers as everyone else has their own opinions. I was stating the racist comments she made which did exist.

Didn't she also go on about Poles? But being as Poles are white - it doesn't quite fit in with your 'anti-black' stance does it?
