So we should have MPs who are from ethnic minorities just because they have a certain skin colour and/or hail from a certain ethnic group? That's a rather narrow minded view. Would it not be better to have MPs who are fair and deal with issues regardless of their own skin colour? Why not have ALL black MPs? Their skin colour should not make any difference to you or anyone else. Their views and intellect is what matter surely?

it may well be true, and i prob agree, but it still annoys me that non-whites can say things like this and get away with it, but if a white person said something like "all coloured people are racist" there would be some stooshie, same as the black police association (or whatever it was/is called) my mate is a police inspector and there is a lot of bad feeling about this type of organisation, they know they cannot start a white police association, i dont like racism, and honestly dont think im a racist, so i dont like when any side makes sweeping statements like this, and having worked in FE establishments, i can guarantee you if a member of staff there made a staement like it they could and would prob be sacked for it, so how come an MP can do it and simply say "sorry i didnt mean to offend anyone"
