Excellent car, but quirky as heck, like the inboard brakes. Trying to get them undone to change the pads, the Haynes manual omits to tell you the allen grub screws go one way on the off-side and the other on the near-side.


Who in their right mind fit inboard disc to a road going car? put the engine up front and the gear box on the rear axle? the front calipers use a different allen key to the rear! YES i was the proud owner of a Guilietta. :P :P :P :P :P
 
The old man taught me how to drive in a Cortina 1600E,I think I done for him in the end, he died of a heart attack. :shock:
 
The first car I ever had was in the early seventies, though it was a fifties or sixties car. An old ford pop that somebody had grafted a mini front sub frame and engine set up into would you believe. Whoever it was did a good job too, it drove fine.
