No don't think I'll bother looks like I'm wasting my time.

You know the single most difference that can be made today in the world is the cynical attempts by supermarkets to put stuff on shelves with sell by dates only 3 days forward. Everyone knows that a weekly shop is a standard protocol and the shelving and labelleing of products deliberately sets out to undermine this and make people throw perfectly good food away. More shocking than animals being killed for food is animals killed for food and then not eaten.

So if you want to be the big man and pick a fight with someone please don't pick on someone who actually has some empathy towards the plight of animals on the planet but pick it with the people who deserve it.

You are just making yourself look like a malcontent with self esteem issues.

I'm a convicted animal rights extremist said to be in the top 5 most dangerous AR activist in Europe (that's the daily mail for you) , I picked my fight with the vivisection industry. Was very good at what I did as well

I'm retired and leave all the running around to others, I help out rescuing animals, I'm happy with that.

Well that could explain why you don't enter freely into discussion. 8)
On that subject though 2 wrongs don't make a right and I will never agree to the tactics used by animal rights activists targeting homes , smearing people , making false accusations , criminal damage , arson etc.

You want laws changing you lobby parliamentand the EU and vote just like everybody else. Or you put up MPs for election.

I can understand anyones frustration at the current political situation but if your tactics were accepted then what next? - kidnapping someone when the petrol prices went up or more yellow lines were painted on your high street?

I'm also a convicted kidnapper and wasn't convicted for any of the above although some of my friends have a wide range of conviction ranging from arson, possession of incendiary devices and criminal damage etc In fact most the UK AR activists locked up in the last 10 years are friends, some closer than others.

I spend my time rescuing animals now, have nothing to do with grass roots campaigning. If you choose to stuff your face with meat that's your right to do so but understand what you eat and at what cost. I posted this thread because I wanted to bust the myth that a meat based diet is a "natural" diet and is better for you.

Both diets if balanced are healthy so why wouldn't you want to have a diet that's not only healthy but ethical as well?

Let the little one grow as nature intended

As nature intended?

How far back into history do you intend to go?

A neanderthal diet made up exclusively of raw bison, horse and mammoth?

Did they?

Scientists have upgraded their opinion of Neanderthal cuisine after spotting traces of cooked food on the fossilised teeth of our long-extinct cousins.

The researchers found remnants of date palms, seeds and legumes – which include peas and beans – on the teeth of three Neanderthals uncovered in caves in Iraq and Belgium.

I've already told you this, but nut cutlets just don't hit the spot like a nice leg of lamb or a rack of ribs.
