Baby funds

Any one who knows some one who turned 18 in 2020 / 21 or is going to turn 18

Had a baby fund set up for them by government 250£ afaik when they were born

They can claim it or re invest it could be worth 2 grand ??

Seems to be a lack of awareness over it ???

Two of ours got one. The eldest didn't.

How can that be?

We chose the bank, went there, filled out all the **** and were given folders with all the details in.

We were told we could pay in X per year and to come back when the vomiting, screaming, diarrhoea-filled sproglets were 18 and still vomiting, albeit for different reasons.

Afai can make out it parents did not do as you said with in a given time frame the government did it automatically ??
