I have 3 x 60w incandecent tubes fitted these are about 12" long.
I want to replace them with T5 fittings, but cant find the fitting dimensions, anyone got a link.

T5 fittings range from about 4" to 5' in length. Just choose the fitting length you want or have I missunderstood the question?

Them lamps are made in 221mm or 284 mm and im not sure they do a T5 retrofit

T5 undercounter fittings are bulky

you can fit a 300mm electronic fitting but it will more likely be T4

You can get an Led lamp that fits directly in your existing fitting.
Not sure if its dimmable though if thats relevant

Its not the length / wattage I am after, but the dimensions of the fitting.

to be honest though, those are probably the ugliest I have seen, unless your cupboards have a big void under them you may well be able to see them

screwfix did a nice range but seem to have binned it in favour of LED

Buy a strip of self adhesive LEDs, and run it the full length of the cabinets. You get great even coverage of light, you only have to make 1 set of connections, you'll never have to replace a lamp, they're ultra low energy and the most unobtrusive light source you'll ever get.

Well why did you post a link to them then?

When you could just as easily linked to these:

I already have 3 terminal blocks. Never thought of LED, do you have a link.
