Hi All
anyone got experience of this?
I have configured this in the engineers menu and seemingly all has gone well, but it seems stuck on "intialisation 000 001 002" and then this repeats?
Any ideas?
thanks

No disrespects meant to yourself, but when I come up against something which is totally beyond my comphrehension, although I believe I have done everything according to the book, I now tend to stop everything and start from scratch. The basics obviously are a BT box and ADSL (usually), correctly wired to the dialler. It might be worth checking the physical side first and then going through the programming again. You won't be surprised to find that I have had to do this on numerous occasions.

I'd better start reading the posts fullly. Sorry about that. I think the same applies though, I would tend to go through everything again, but that's just the way I do things. You should be able to contact Pyronix direct, not that I am trying to get out of it. Try googling them if no one comes up with a definite for your problem.

thanks very much - yes I will call them tomorrow, I have emailed but that was some time ago and no reply.
its odd as I am 100% sure Ive done everything correctly - perhaps its a duff unit

Hi,

It won't be the first duff unit I've come across, but fingers crossed it's something they have come across, I'll try for their site address if it's any help.

Sparkymarka, I seem to recall some time ago an addendum, not sure who from, but it points out that there are a few problems getting a signal out with some providers, maybe three or four. That's all the info I have. Would this have anything to do with it ?

hello try ringing pry technical support, they are abit of a nightmare these speech diallers. if you want to use my engineer id when you ring just message me. (they probs wont ask for it)

Hi guys, i rang tech support, they suggested I power it down and restart it.. sounded like BS to me but I did it nonetheless and bingo I now get a full 5 bars :)
is there anyway to actually test the alarm functionality (ie SMS and voicedial) without a full alarm activation (I suppose there must be a function on the alarm panel (Optima G4) to test without the bell box?)
all help appreciated :)

thanks

Amazing that, Tech Support know what they are doing.

Can't you work it out from the manual? You do have a manual, don't you?

Think about it.

Further to my above post, you wouldn't be surprised how many seemingly hopeless cases have been resolved simply by powering down a panel.

alarm fitter left me nothing, then went bust ... so i have had to download it and learn!
seems to be sorted now ...

thanks for help
