How can anyone think Labour weren't control freaks ?

4,289 new laws? Hmmm, were they trying to fill a quota? Or do you think they were on piece work rates? Bet one of them gives our Ton' immunity from prosecution. Still, it'll all come right when he becomes European president (for liff)

Oh golly gosh another interesting post about politics, i'll get some popcorn.

Can't wait for the next one about immigration.

any second or third term produces politicians that start to believe they are gods regardless off party

I'm no Tory, but this lot wanted to control the populace no question.

we all need reminders now and then, will we have all forgotten by the next election?

I know exactly what you mean, i can sympathise with you, when i inadvertently open a topic about football i get a sudden urge to throw myself off the Avon Gorge Bridge, but i take a few deep breaths and simply click off the irritating topic, perhaps if you do not want to air your views on this topic you could do the same.

I still get surprised how people who have no interest in a subject are compelled to post an irrelevant statement.

Stick to the building section if your not interested in current issues,

As for immigration ~ seems the majority of people are bothered about it.

This is from oxford university, seems your in the minority to be so blase about immigration.

"You couldn’t get a more stark summing-up of Labour’s moral bankruptcy. For war criminal Tony Blair, the Prime Minister whose illegal invasion was led by George Bush and cheerled by the baying enthusiasm of the Labour and Conservative parties while only the Liberal Democrats stood against it, life after office means pocketing millions of pounds and sparing just one day to help Lord Chilcot with his Inquiry. By contrast, for the rest of us ordinary people, in thirteen years Labour has fabricated over 4,289 new laws so far (nearly one a day) to waste police time and micro-manage our lives"

yes, that certainly sounds like the work of an unbiased observer with no political bias to colour his judgement.

Well it's factually correct but what do you expect from a blog? It's also hard to give a balanced view on the last Labour government without making things up to make them look good.

Come on wasn't it good when Brown sold off our gold reserves when the price was so high !

And he summed up that "Bigot" when she asked about immigration and he left his mic on !

She should have stood on her doorstep with all the press there and verbally laid in to the idiot...........unlike Brown she had maturity and manners.

brown was a power hungry bully. Though teflon tony had promised him the reins much earlier. cherie put paid to that.
