I know exactly what you mean, i can sympathise with you, when i inadvertently open a topic about football i get a sudden urge to throw myself off the Avon Gorge Bridge, but i take a few deep breaths and simply click off the irritating topic, perhaps if you do not want to air your views on this topic you could do the same.
