Same with angle grinders..a couple of years ago some diyer used one for the first time and nearly severed his arm... I dont know the answer as to who can buy/hire them but its a alarming situation when numptys can get hold of one without any common sense

Witnessed a guy stapling himself to a piece of wood with a 2 inch pneumatic staple gun and followed him as another guy took him to a bandsaw to cut the 3ft piece of wood down to something more manageable for treatment.

Had to stop the guy trimming the wood as he was about to make a cut that would have taken the poor guys finger off too... that was a close thing.

At least the numpty can only damage themselves with an angle grinder... don't forget, that same numpty can legally get into a lump of metal weighing 2 tons and drive it at 60mph literally 6 feet away from kids walking to school !
