Ceiling rose lighting query

Hi

Hopefully someone can help as I have managed to lose all but three of my upstairs lights. I was about to change the bathroom light and without thinking just disconnected all the wires in the rose and now am at a loss as to how connect them back up.

I am aware of the lighting diagrams on the sticky but since I don't have a black wire with red tape I am at a loss as to which should go to the switch. Can anyone please help decipher the attached photo so I might at least reconnect the existing light.

I am sorry if this is basic but I am loathed to touch electrics without a good understanding of what is going on!

It's good practise and a requirement that all conductors are identified, unfortunately this is not always the case.
Looking at your picture and assuming you have not twisted any of the cable together since removing the fitting. I would say that the single black is likely to be the switch wire and the pair twisted together are neutrals.
But the best method to confirm this would be by confirming continuity of the perm live and switch live by using of a continuity tester or multi-meter(these look to be the red and black at the right of picture, could also be an earth up there as it seems to be missing, but could be hidden behind cables can see something but not clearly).
Also your earth/CPC should be sleeved in green and yellow and all terminated together at the earth terminal of fitting.

And the cable with the blue and brown.
This is obviously a more recent addition.
Where does this go? Is there a fan in your bathroom?.
Does it come on with the light and go off when the light turns off, or does it run on when the light goes out?

Thank you all for your help, now got all the upstairs lights back on and just need to finish up reconnecting the old light but will wait till its light again! I think the blue-brown is for the extension (a bedroom and a bathroom) that was put in a few years ago by the previous owners, there is no fan in this bathroom.
