Why would anybody want to go back in time when you could visit the future?
You're right. I'd love to see what's happened to this country in a hundred years' time!
Don't forget to take your koran and prayer mat.
(I couldn't find a smiley of someone praying to Mecca!)
Don't think you will. Humour and islam don't exactly go together.
Seriously, I have a view of what the future may be like in 100 years or so, in UK. It ain't pretty. By then, the country will be split into many factions, who constantly oppose each other, and may even break down into civil wars.
The Chinese will be top of the heap after cornering the world's resources, and their empire will ruthlessly control fuel, services, food production, etc, etc. The rest of the country will be made up of warlike muslim tribes, violent Afro Caribbean gangs, huge numbers of Eastern European third generation immigrants and a huge dispossesed bulk of indigenous Brits. They will be impoverished, alienated and poorly educated, but will be unlikely to unite to tackle the excesses, violence and oppression from the other groups.
I hope I'm very wrong, but I'm just glad that I won't experience it.
Does anyone else have a vision of The UK in 100 years time?
