Stopcock

I need to replace a 3/4" stopcock, but can only find 22mm...will this fit as a straight swap, or do i need extra parts?

Assuming the OP means a 3/4" thread and not 3/4" imperial copper.
This needs clarification from the OP.

I'm making the assumption that the op doesn't know that copper comes in metric and imperial, if it is 3/4" copper then all they need is imperial olives, Simplez

Unfortunately, I am no plumber...the 3/4" is stamped on the side of the stopcock, therefore I presumed that it is a 3/4" stopcock that I need. Not sure if this helps.

Briefly attached a photo of my stopcock... The number on one side is
1010-2-6833, on the other side of the stopcock, all it has is 3/4" with the arrow showing flow direction. This is where I have deducted that I need a 3/4" stopcock.

i had to close the water supply as i was replacing my bathroom handbasin, when I opened the tap once i was finished there is no flow into my tank and therefore no cold water to my cistern and taps. I have no cold water supply...

crack open the top compression nut on the stopcock, if you get water the ballcock's choked.

It is a compression stop tap. Do you have any idea when it would have been fitted?

You could use a 22 mm stopcock but fitted with 3/4" olives.

Or, and and rather better, use a short length of 22 mm tube either side of the stopcock and solder that to the 3/4" tube with 22mm to 3/4" couplers

Provided the olives are not crushed and the current stopcock doesnt have an odd thread size, then a 22mm stop cock should be a straight swap using existing nuts and olives?
