A huge thank you to Murray and Djokovic, for keeping it down to 3 sets.. Honestly though why don't they put this sort of stuff on BBC3 or Beeb 4 instead of rescheduling programmes on BBC1, and no i am not being sportist or anything like that, same applies to F1, footy, etc.

So what is on TV on a Sunday afternoon that is so important other than sport?

Well we can safely say that three SA born players will be playing for England in first test, so in my terms that is full enough!
Who are the three? If you are including Prior, he has lived here since he was a boy. All his sporting influence has been British.

Its not that so much, I just think its a bit bad when overrunning sports knock out the schedules of other programmes. There are plenty of other BBC channels on which to show these events. Don't get me wrong I love watching footy, and a bit of F1 (Not very keen on tennis or golf mind, but each to their own.)

Born in SA though regardless!

PBOD (peoples' Brian O Driscoll)... get over it ffs ! rules is rules... (I personally think it should be where you're born (unless on holiday) and nowt else)!! but it works every which way !!

Eddie oh Eddie, imagine a world without Holby City, or celebrity masterchef... get a book, or go and find a useful forum to post on !!!

Getting worked up over things you can't control is like killing yourself because it rained on your birthday !!!

My intention is not to blame anyone, just to point out that not all Great things are purely Great British!
No offence taken and banter accepted and taken in good humour!

Yeah true, there isn't much "great" left in Britain these days... hence why I wanted to 'bang on' about recent successes.

And just to mention your changing of my "name" when you quoted me... I really aint bothered about my significance on this site... I was Martian, and I got booted. Like many I've come back because this place has (had?) a good balance of views. I've not been the best forum member, mainly due to wine, but these days I'm trying to get my fitness back, so the wine is a no no for me these days.

And I haven't been the worst forum member, so, in true democratic style I believe we should all get a chance...

Motto of the week.... if you can " 'ave a dig", then you need to be able to take a dig!!
