That's essentially the same as asking how likely it is that the cable of a 2.5mm² radial would show signs of "overload/deterioration" if protected by a 30/32A OPD - and I strongly suspect (given the 'safety margins' that appear to exist) that the answer is that it is extremely unlikely. However, that is not to suggest that people should test those margins by "trying it"!
