No wiring diagrams only these 2 pages and the invoice , its the same as the old Transformer that was in so I put the wires in the same contacts
Fair enough - I can't find any sensible instructions on-line, either. Are there any markings on the cover of the transformer? If so, could we see a piccie of it?No wiring diagrams only these 2 pages and the invoice , its the same as the old Transformer that was in so I put the wires in the same contacts
Ah, yes - but on reflection, I don't suppose that any of us would have believed that the light would work with it wired back to front!Looking at a picture of the transformer....
Comparing this to what the OP has stated earlier - he has wired this end correctly.

Quite - that's the most likely outcome one might expect. The second most likely would, I suppose, be a much quieter 'plop' (or no sound at all), if it's protected in some way. ... but to put 230V into the output and get something out of the input that could satisfactorily operate a 12V lamp .... no wayI have attended a kitchen where the householder had wired the transformers up BTF..... apparently, there was, to quote him, "one f**k of a bang!"

It is a very odd thread (about what I'm increasingly coming to suspect is a 'non-problem'), but I think that BAS's piccies are (or, at least, may be) unjustified.Dunno. Ban.....Are you bored?![]()
As I wrote, I agree. The snail snd the troll pics were ignored as I thought there was no need for them ,
It's hardly a matter of 'leaving the conversation'. If I recall correctly, apart from asking a question on page 1, he hasn't contributed at all!...if hes bored leave the conversation![]()
