The radiators I've bought came with 4 coach screws and plugs (40-50mm long), the problem is the wall is thermaline plasterboard and after that stone work, so there isn't enough depth in the wall to be able to screw in the coach screws tight enough to hold the brackets firm enough not slide down once the radiator is on. Typical bugger of a problem that often finds its way to me.
What should I do? Should I buy longer coach screws and plugs, if so what do I buy? I've drilled one hole 100mm and used a hammer fixing, but the heads of them are so weak they burr up after a few turns rendering them useless.
