Muslim / Gypsy burial conflict - The facts

And Handyjack actually posted this statement in his earlier thread

"A Romany Gypsy family face having to exhume the body of a recently-buried relative because of a row over grave plots at Burbage Cemetery."

Can you show me where I said that

Yes, you said it in your earlier thread "Tolerance not even in death" when you kicked off this nonsense in the first place. Are you going to try to deny it?

What evidence do you have that proves the statement isn't true?

So, we have established that you did write the words you now try to weasel away from.

We know that they never faced an exhumation.

Do you still claim they did?

You've established nothing unless you were present at the initial meeting with the gypsies with a recorder set to REC.

Its obvious your crystal ball is the hocus pocus model.

Seeing as we know that the council don't know their 'arris from their elbow, how do you know that the gypsies weren't told that exhumation was at least one possible outcome?

Excellent reaction fom nocon and handjack.
Superbly demonstrates not only their islamophobia, but also their total lack of grip on reality and their ludicrous refusal to accept that they were mistaken.

Personally, I couldn't give a rodents rectum where they were buried, but it appears obvious that if the Muslim family had complained, they were at fault.
Now we may never know the full truth, but appears ironical that the RoP ARE INVOLVED AGAIN. Personally, I would lay full blame on an inept Council that are unable to get their act together.

Oh and one for Reindeer - he quoted this :
'Or to be fair: if I had a choice of saying "May Allah have mercy upon you"
and "May that mythical being created in our subconcious to alleviate our wories about natural disasters have mercy upon you". I'd still prefer "May Allah have mercy upon you."
So, as a total non-believer, I care not for pointless diatribe of your 'Gods', but we know where your allegiance lies.

Yep, as usual, John's fanning the smokescreen - arguing over one point to try to get everyone to ignore the main issue. As usual, we all know that in a display of bigotry from one minority against another, the ROP demanded special treatment.

Because councils are stuffed to the gills with people who think like John, the ROP will probably get their way.Funny how the apologists will bend over backwards to support or try to cover up what they will see as the right sort of bigotry. ROP bigotry.

Just because we feel strongly about our country and the intolerance of the RoP, we are labelled racist etc. Bull****
I speak for myself and possibly quite of a few of other people in this country.
We are not anti Muslims, we are anti the terrorist section of Muslims and their supporters. The same as we were anti IRA terrorists.
There is every possibility that these extremists are only using the RoP as a smoke screen, but, the great people of this once great country are possibly influenced by the fact that the RoP headline the news on a daily basis. It wasn't until they were pressurised, that the leaders of Muslims came out to announce their abhorence of the murder of Lee Rigby etc.
We are a very tolerant country, shame is isn't a two way street.

So you are excited because an untrue suggestion was made that a some body was going to be dug up?

Why are you excited about false allegations?

I don't know what Jock has said but I do find it puzzling that, despite personal comments, no-one in the opposite camp seems to find themselves being censored.

Another strange thing: Page 9 appears at the top (and bottom) of the last page I can access (Page:cool:. Perhaps a whole page has been censored, yet the page number remains.

Who said they were excited about false allegations?

You have drawn your own (unjustified) conclusion from someone's postings, and then posed a question that now assumes that conclusion is an established fact.

It is an inflamed non-story.

The sensationalist part, i.e. the bit about exhumation does not even exist.

Take that away and all you have is an argument over a village grave plot. One being a deceased merchant banker and the other a Gypsy.

Hardly headline news.

Mrs Ahmad added: "There has never been a time when we have asked for the person's body to be exhumed. It is totally and utterly untrue
We were unaware someone not of the Muslim faith could also be buried there because of what they had said. "We asked the council if there was anything they could do and they said there was not. We have no problem with Mr Smith, it is the council giving us the perception that we had been given this area when in actual fact they hadn't. We feel very let down.

"It has all been blown out of proportion.
"

If it were a white family objecting to a muslim being buried next to their relative purely because of race or religion, the pressure on the white family to back down and apologise would be enormous, and they would be named in the paper, photos of them leaving the house etc. As it is, the 'muslim family are having their racist requests honoured, while enjoying full anonymity.
