It was only a matter of time

What do you mean? Threads about terrorism and other atrocities are the most popular things on GD

The religion of the perpetrators is especially interesting.

Before JD cracked up
The old fair minded amongst us have very short memories.

How come you have not mentioned the plethora of other boring repetitive same-theme posts?

I take your comment was referring John D restoring some parity to the GD section, yes/no?

I think JD's plethora of threads is to remind us how journalists are perpetually lying and that therefore every single story he has highlighted are all just make believe and have been created in hacks' heads to sell cover.

Does that apply to all journalist/tabloid related threads or just Johns?

Are you aware that you can verify a story by several different means Dex? And by 'verify' I mean that you can seek out impartial and worthy sources.

PS. The DM is not one of these sources.

True. However, JD has repeatedly harped on about hacks making things up (even though he clearly wasn't there and has no physical evidence). It seems entirely natural to deduce that all these threads are what he considers to be further examples of such practices

That applies to about 98% of all threads within the G.D. section.

What is natural to deduce is that if there is overwhelming evidence that a journalist has made stuff up, exaggerated and inflamed a story, then one can only use common sense and ones own intelligence to decide what is true and what is not.

Handy and Norcs have showed time an time again that they are frauds, cowards and hoaxers.

I'm happy to agree with everything you have posted with the one exception of your last line as I don't want to get into personal insults with other members (at this moment in time    ).

For what it's worth, although I'm no racist nor an apologist for either side of the OCD arguments taking place on these threads, it does seem that there is a body of evidence such as within this http://wikiislam.net/wiki/Muslim_Statistics_-_Terrorism which perhaps should worry us all :?

Of course human history is littered with grotesque acts of violence, but this ought not mean that we should brush off as insignificant current trends.

Very interesting.

Amazing as it sounds, according to Esposito and Mogahed, the proper term for a Muslim who hates America, wants to impose Sharia law, supports suicide bombing, and opposes equal rights for women but does not "completely" justify 9/11 is . . . "moderate."

Two things.

I posted this thread because JD posted six threads in almost as many minutes in an attempt to show us that not only Muslims are bad but that alter boys can be too.

There has been no restoration of parity as you put it. Both sides. The fukwits and the dumbfuks have bored the hell out of most of us for many months. The moderating has been ****. It has gone from reasonably impartial to partial in the last week or so.

It's like watching my daft dogs with a tyre, neither side wants to let go and will hang on for hours until one eventually gets bored and wonders off to stick its nose into something else.

Of course, we should remember that reading every thread is not compulsory. It is, in fact, quite easy to avoid reading threads concerning the muslim threat. Personally, I find the subject quite interesting.
