Can these pipes be moved back?

Hi folks, so have had new boiler and pipes installed. Problem is the pipes come too far out the wall for the tumble dryer to go back in properly. So my question is how easy would it be to move them further back? Picture 3 is the one of the pipes in question. The other pictures are of where the pipes connect. It's about 5.11 inches of a gap. By my laymans eyes the bottom pipe can go back at least 2.5 inches. Thanks for any input.

Here is a picture of the filter that was installed. Does this look right?

He should have used 3M double sided tape to hold them pipes in place!

That stuff he has used is cheap and nasty. Get him back immediately.

Seriously though, I'm not a plumber/gas fitter but even to my eye that is a complete mess. Those pipes look as though they could have gone flat against the wall and certainly need proper pipe clip supports.

In that last picture, with the 'filter', they look like they are soldered joints but to my eye they don't look as though they have been soldered. There appears to be no burn or scorch marks in the area or to the joint.

They are copper push fit fittings .

Conny those are the cheap and nasty Copper Pushfit things flogged to DIY'ers. Only used by professionals as a last resort on a Sunday emergency when the van is in the garage and the customer doesn't have any more gaffer tape.

Is there another shot of that filter? Looks to be mounted on its side.

Has he actually used the ties from an old cylinder jacket to hold up the filter? Or were they the plastic straps that held the boiler box together?

This guy is Gas Safe registered believe it or not. I checked online. Guess that doesn't mean that much... He has used the straps the boiler came in... Question is should I get him to come back, if he comes back, or go with someone else altogether?
