INTELLISENSE 800L wirding second keypad HELP!

I have an 8 year old Intellisense 800L Alarm system. Just extended the house want an extra keypad in the garage. Found compatible keypad by TATE company online. Gave it to my fitter who also installed 2 more sensors. However he had a problem and was unable to make the keypad function. It lit up you could see the zones but not able to key in code. I checked the manual online this system is definitely able to carry more than 1 keypad.

Please help me if you can!!!! I dont want a new alarm system - Out of budget!!!!!!!

I would suggest you ask this question in the "Alarms, CCTV & Telephones" section of the forum as you will get more help. Your issue may be that your keypad and panel are not compatible and use different protocols to communicate or that it has been wired up wrong. Keypads normally have to be matched with the panel's that their designed for. Also, I believe that your "TATE keypad" is a re-badged product and not a OEM product.

Try and replace the TATe keypad with an identical match of your existing working keypad if possible.

This is the one i bought....... Its says its compatible. Not sure what do?

I would recommend that you ask in this section of the forum as that's the best section; Other than checking the wiring at both ends, trying another RKP, reading the installation manual for both the RKP and the panel if you have access to them, etc... there not a lot more I can help you with as I am not familiar with your system.
