Got a problem on this ideal mini, at first would only fire on H/W for about 10 seconds boiler lit then would shut down, at first I thought overheat stat via the fault finding guide, I then tried linking it out still no C/H nor would boiler fire in H/W mode, so I put wires back on the stat, I then spoke to tech help who said it's deffo the C/H thermistor preventing the boiler from lighting, iv changed the thermistor and still nothing! Seems to run through the sequence then locks out showing ignition fault I think it said! Is it possibly a faulty pcb ? It's the model with 1 pcb board. Possibly dodgy relay ? Hope somebody can help with this! Without giving smart arse comments!! Many thanks

So any help or advice?? There's some decent folk on here that's why I joined this site, but also a lot of people who try and belittle people..... I'm interested to hear what you have to say steelmasons.... You want my gas safe registration ?? Lmfao

So your first post on this forum asks for no smart arse comments...:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

511658 I'm not a troll! Ha I understand you see a lot of people on here who are not gas safe engineers, but I'm genuine.

Oh dear, Steely, we've got another Mr Angry on here.....

Not angry snes I post a thread asking for advice and just get witty comments, pointless really! Still failing to understand how he can't or won't supply usefull advice,

Because you are on an open forum and site rules stop anyone from giving advice on here that is combustion/safety related , join the combustion chamber and you will get the answer you need, and I would remove the post on here with your gas safe number if I was you, in the CC only registered gas engineers can see and comment

Am the only one here, well it is late on a Bank Holiday friday after all....) who entered that code into the GSR mainframe 'pooter and got "Business cannot be found"

Please ensure you are entering their registration number which is a number of between 1-6 digits.

If you have a 7 digit number this is their licence card number. To check this please use Check a Gas Engineer.

Alternatively call us on 0800 408 5500 for further assistance.

Edit Edit, just re-read steels post. so no I not the only one :censored::censored::censored:
