Too many friends in high places brown nosing each other.

I understand that those wanting to prosecute Blair are attempting to get legal aid to pay for it. That should be a no for a start.

Shows you where we are REALLY at in society, when a creature like that can roam free.

The odd thing about this case, is that Blair should really be prosecuted for misleading parliment (and the British public) more so than for the crime of "aggresion", for which Buish should really be tried for.

Public opinion was behind him at the time and that's a powerful motivator. Most people thought we were doing the right thing at that time.
Certainly, no one realised that attacking Muslim nations would have the result we have today i.e. disaffected Muslims driving lorries into innocent people in westernised nations.

Completely right Noseall, but people were only behind him because of the lies he told. And as to the Muslim attacks, someone should have looked at how the Afghans have fought back against each invader, to have considered what might happen.

Is that completely true?
Do you not think an attack would have been inevitable with or without WMD on a seemingly cruel murderous dictator?

For some still inexplicable reason, Bush decided to invade Iraq (some say for the oil, not so sure myself) and so dragged Blair along with him. Blair and Campbell manufactured the case for invasion, and convinced Parliament to back the war, so the war was inevitable, but was it necessary, and was it justified. On the basis of dealing with cruel and murderous dictators, why haven't Assad and Kim Jong been dealt with. You can't argue for one, without including the others.

One has only just become a threat and the other is being backed by the Russians. Do you understand diplomacy?

Is everyone in the UK that gullible? Must have been some ruse, just the two of them and all that.
