Problem is that he'd have to have everyone on ignore as he's incapable of being nice or sincere

I do appreciate the sentiment tho Doggit, it's just wasted on Himmy. It would be seconds before he starts posting with calling people names or being derogatory towards them. He can't help it.

As far as I could see Trans's posts were in retaliation to the way Himmy spoke to him, being derogatory and calling him arse-end. That's not the way to make friends. Why should Trans take him seriously or treat him well when Himmy is the one who seems to like belittling others? There is a way to talk to people well even if he doesn't agree with their political views or ways of seeing the world and Himmy hasn't mastered it yet. Not even close.

Then good for you. I've tried reasoning with him, and again just the other day about the way he talks to people and the name calling, asking for change and the response was what I came to expect.

It's how you get a child to change it's behaviour. They don't know how to change, so by changing your beahviour, you lead them into changing theirs.

Problem is that you're not dealing with a child. You're dealing with an adult who likes to get his kicks by putting people down. He's not going to change, you can't teach someone who doesn't want to be taught.
