Hello, We are putting up 3ft fencing around our (currently open) front garden. I see that the 'spikes' used to set the posts in are all 600mm or longer. Is it necessary to use spikes this long on fencing which is only 3ft high?. I see that you can buy what they call 'repair' spikes which are 300mm and was wondering if they could be used instead?
