Not if one wants RGB...Or even a simple brilliant white LED tape. Just needs a simple variable DC supply to dim it without changing colour as the voltage changes, RGB tape and the necessary triple output driver is over complicating the system
It's not in a wardrobe, it illuminates what's effectively an alcove in the bedroom, and it is not beyond the realms of possibility that at times something other than makeup-functional light might be welcome.I don't think the OP ever said anything about dimming and I can't see any reason to dim lights in a wardrobe.
