Poor quality plumbing tradesman on site - photos added -am I being too harsh?

Sorry but if anyone considers this (below image) to be quality work, done by a tradesman, then I am completely confused by this thread!

The cold feed could have been altered so the soil pipe fits back to the wall.

Very poor installation.

Struggles to understand your not happy ? ! Struggled to fit the toilet !!!
He should have fitted the cistern to the pan dry fitted it back to the wall altered the cold feed and got the correct fittings or slightly altered the soil pipe as necessary. Sad for you ...hilarious for us !

I googled fitting whilst he was on site - found exactly that sent Mrs to pick one up but he said no good as it was then too far back ...I still have it ...he has just cleared up and will be looking for payment.

a bit tidier, hold and cold moved - (cant access isolators now) the waste pipe was too long before right angle bend so it would have created sitting water - he has changed for a flexi waste arrangement now ....
