One of the occupants of the Audi, said to be a passenger, witnessed speeding at up to 100mph before the crash, was a drug dealer and had recently been released from prison following a conviction after involvement in a 130mph police chase.

And would that be the driver of the car that 3 men got thrown out by any chance.

All the reports I've read so far, say that he was in the car, but they're still not sure who was driving. But on past experience, I'd say it's reasonable to assume that he was the driver.

Ooh, naughty; and as a matter of fact yes. The couple in the taxi were English.

Not sure about the others that got taken to hospital though.

They'd obviously got some hot food, and didn't want it to get cold.

Dopgit displaying his usual crass stupidity. Bonehead!
Perhaps dopgit could explain how he knows the nationality of the people involved?

Now where's the post gone between 4 and 5 that wondered about the nationality of the cars occupants, because they all live in birmingham. Who's playing games again.

Whats the relevance of this other than I assume those at fault were not English?
No fault has been determined yet, never mind the nationalities of the deceased.
I appreciate a fair amount of supposition has been generated on social media, but a lot of that is based purely on bigotry, as is dopgit's.
Even secure's comment is at the moment purely circumstantial.
If an ex-convict is in a car accident, it does not automatically mean that that person was driving! In fact, secure states that he was a passenger, so how is it relevant? Although, how secure can make the assumption that he was a passenger is anyone's guess.

Perhaps people could show a bit of respect for the deceased and their families instead of perpetuating bigoted comments.

I see dopgit is looking for excuses for his crass remarks.

That driver/occupant got sent down for three years last November and didn't even serve 12 months.

Shame for the taxi occupants, **** those in the Audi. Hope the one on life support gets turned off too.

Have the news reports mentioned the other car they were racing? I've not seen it.

I'm not sure they were racing anyone, even though the underpass has been described as a race track, and they may just have been speeding, but you raise a good point Woody. I wonder if the police will check some of the previous cameras, and see if there was another car that sped off when they say what happened.

As to the 12 months served; he'd have got time served on remand set against his sentence, so at only 18 months required, he wouldn't have been in there very long. This leads on to wondering why if they weren't banged up on the first offence, rather than getting 25 cautions first, then the police would have the resources to do their job properly.
