None of the story makes sense. Firstly300 tramadols seems an awful lot for "personal use" second why didn't the husband( or boyfriend depending on where you read) tell her that tramadols are against the law in Egypt. To be honest she's lucky 3 years is all she got given drug trafficking can carry the death penalty in Egypt. Also if the husband/boyfriend isn't her husband she could be in more trouble as being in relationships outside of marriage is also against the law in a lot of countries.
