As far as I am concerned, it is.

You can hold that thought. Utter cretins.

MPs have voted 314-284 against an amendment to the Trade Bill calling for all free trade deals after Brexit to be subject to Parliamentary scrutiny and consent

Taking back control indeed.

Unfortunately the EC is limited to the size of the fines it can hand out and is asking for more powers in the future.
It's always someone else's money anyway, so fining probably wouldn't make much difference.
A bit of bird however......

The only 'control' brexiteers have been trained/brain washed to understand is that tugging on their leash!

But just imagine what Pavlov could have achieved had he had access to a big red bus :)

Vote remain had double the funding of vote leave and the lwr are moaning that vote leave broke the law regarding funding.
Dumb lwr.

I know the lwr fraternity accuse me of being dumb, but that's more than £7m, isn't it?

Ah yes, but somebody will be along to say, that was government expenditure and it was therefore not part of remain and thus legal.

Remain was also fined for missing invoices for expenditure of £80,000

I wish you boyos knew about the law regarding Referendum spending.

https://fullfact.org/europe/whos-getting-taxpayers-money-eu-referendum/

The government’s spending of £9 million on this week’s leaflet is separate from all this, as the government is not treated as a campaign.

I said somebody would be along soon to point exactly that out.

And yes I do know about the law regarding referendum spending.

This can be split into 2:

1. Clearly vote leave have broken the law. Which is wrong.

2. If there is a correlation of cost to influence gain, then did the government leaflet cost + allowed expenses + illegal over spending add up to more or less than the leaves allowed expenses + illegal expenses.

Before anybody tries to calculate it, can you specify what illegal over spending was made by the Government ?

And who is being held to account over it ?

The government spending doesn't come into play - it has its position and made it clear in the leaflets.

As I pointed out in my OP - this is one for Parliament and the Politicians to decide but it seems its a moot point now.

Election scammers abroad have duly noted this.

If it exerted influence, it has skin in the game.

As you say, a moot point now, theres been a bit of water under the bridge since.
