Drilled through to neighbour's garage side

Oh christ. :ROFLMAO:

OP; you'll probably find on closer inspection you didn't go right through the skin and I'm willing to guess it's some kind of thermalite/air block. I've had it on jobs where you think you're just past mid point to set an anchor and a 3" patch of the face breaks out the other side exposing the hole. Bit of clear silicone got me out of the **** with it but it's one of those things, can't be helped.

So might have drilled through. Her side smashed out because its weak soft lime brick and exposed drill hole. I might not be liable. but for neighburly harmony best to try and fix it

I think you would be liable. Why not offer to paint the wall after you've filled the holes and she'll think she's had a result.

It's your responsibility to make good, it will be a lot cheaper if you do it, the landlord/management company can't complain if you reinstate what was there.

Blup

I suppose the only proper job would be replace the blown bricks. They arr only a cheap stock brick.

In reality its just a garage, a bit of filler would be fine. Even left alone would be fine, its causing no structural issues, just cosmetic.

You could put up shelves her side, that way it will hide the holes.
OR a notice board etc.

oh just get it bloody sorted... hardly the end of the world is it!!

I'll offer to paint the wall if she isn't happy with just filler. Offer to do the whole garage?

The bricks are two thick, is it an easy job for a brickie to take dsmaged brick out and put new one in without damaging wall?

Sigh.. yes.. its easy for anyone to do.

Put first layer of filler. Gonna wait 4 hrs before second layer goes on. Tried to get filler off motar and brickwork with damp cloth.

She's still furious because I didn't tell I suspected I had drilled through at Christmas and I thought her garage was the other neighbours. It is because I never see her and wasnt sure at time
