Armadillo Drain Plugs/Conduit Gland

I'm looking for the above parts, have a feeling the thread is the same as used with most electrical conduits.

Anyone seen anything like this elsewhere?

Have you already got the hoses that have the correct ID for that barbed hose connection?

If not, and you're sure it's the same thread as electrical stuff (M20 or M25 by 1.5mm pitch), then a flexible conduit pack with IP64 glands...

In your case, to keep the water in though of course!! Even the cheaper IP40 ones could 'waterproofed' with some silicone as you assemble them I would think.

I already have the hoses but they don't seem the best. I may look at getting that kit and see about swapping the lot. I have some glands somewhere but have to dig them out, I can use those to check the thread diameter and pitch. It was the push-fit ends I struggled to find.

They don't have to be anything like IP64 as its for my pick up bed, only to divert the water out and under the bed liner rather than letting it run into the bed liner, off the roller top. I doubt it'll stop all the water getting in regardless but the plastic has perished on one and has to be replaced.

Could it be a BSP thread? It would be a lot cheaper for them to bulk buy ready made water butt connectors than have 'made to order' M20 threaded barbed connectors manufactured...

The trouble there though, is that the barbed hose connector goes inside the hose, so it shouldn't leak and just rely on a friction fit to hold it. The flexible conduit version however, grabs the outside of the conduit, so it could dribble out. Don't even bother trying the glands that are in two halves before hand!!!

I've checked one of the good ones. Not sure if they're 20mm fittings but the thread doesn't look like something from a standard electrical conduit part.

Any advice?
