Hi all,

I am renovating the living room and want to remove the PIR sensor permanently. The alarm system was installed before we moved in and we’ve never had any codes, only key fobs. The alarm is never used due to having pets.

Could someone let me know if I’m ok to just snip the wire, and will it need linking out etc in the control panel?

Eventually I’ll get rid of the whole system. The bell box has always had 2 red lights that flash rapidly, like it’s indicating the alarm has gone off.
Ignore my notes in the keypad, took me ages to reset after a power cut once!

Thanks in advance.

Twist the yellow and blue together and green and white together ....don't short red and black ..or disconnect at the panel end and link out in panel
By the way that's a pet tolerant pir

Thanks sparkymarka.

Should the alarm have gone off when I took the case off? As there’s a tamper spring inside...
