Strange Names

2 people I know - H. Chicken and T. Lilicrap. if they married could be Chickencrap.
 
WW2 guy called Rea ( like Chris) Was Royal Artillery - Gunner Rea.
 
When I first started going out with my wife, her dad had a mate called Peter Ness. It used to crack her little brother up when I mentioned P.Ness. Oh, and the wife’s maiden name is Frost and she was nearly christened 'Dawn'. For the last 35 years I’ve been getting a dig in the ribs if I so much as smirk when the weather forecaster announces that there will be a 'widespread frost' early in the morning.......

Chris Rea once considered joining Dire Straits. He wanted top billing, with a new band name of Chris Straits, but the others wanted the other name.
 
Southern TV news reader a few years back called Chris Peacock.
 
Have a regular custard called Mr Badcock....don't know if it's true :cautious:
 
there's a dentist on linked in called Phil McAvity (I know, almost certainly made up)
 
A guy that I was at college with had an older brother that introduced himself as Steve and only ever used his middle name - but apparently his first name was Orson because his parents thought it would be funny
My mate at college was Neil Carte.
