Megaflo pressure

Hello,

I recently had a water softener installed and as part of that some changes to the cold mains feed (and feed into Megaflo). Within a few months of this, pressure has been dropping off on the showers, toilets, etc and is quite laughable at times (e.g. no water at all).

Is this likely to be something to do with the softener or just a general Megaflo issue? There is also a leak from the Megaflo valve.

Any pointers please? Is it worth bypassing the softener (I think that means turning the blue valves off and opening the black valve?)

Thanks.

The megaflop has a filter on the mains so have the cylinder serviced and it should restore the flow/pressure.

Thanks - got a really good engineer and he diagnosed various issues. The main problem was the valve (now changed, newer version) and the cylinder itself needed a recharge. Pressure is now amazing with two showers and two taps running upstairs - no loss. The expansion cylinder was also full of water, which he sorted out, but I don't think that was affecting pressure.

Where are you in the country? I could do with a megaflop expert
