Hi group, I have a Salus st620rf wireless thermostat stuck in "OFF"
I've changed the batteries for brand new ones twice, tried the reset, made sure the lock is off, but it will no come out of the OFF display, any advice would be really appreciated.

Picture below for reference, my display just shows the word "OFF"

It also shows 'Service' so it looks like you have entered the Service Mode.

Can you not move away from it by swiping the outer ring ring up or down?

Have you tried pressing and holding the arrow key for a few seconds? I think that should take you back to normal operation.

If the above doesn't help, you can email Salus technical support on: [email protected]

Sorry for the confusion Stem, the picture is just a generic one I found on the web, my display just shows "OFF" with nothing else on the display, I've already phoned Salus, the guy hit a brick wall.
Thank you for the reply, Otto

It normally shows off it thinks the batteries are low. Have you tried putting some other batteries in?

Have you tried pressing the reset button underneath to see if that clears it?

One other thing that I've just thought about. If you open the thermostat up as though you were changing the batteries, there's a little 8 pin socket on the back half and on the front half there are 8 corresponding pins. Are all of those pins going into the relevant holes on the socket?

Hi Ottosump, I have exactly the same problem. Did you manage to find a solution?

Yes, I have tried brand new batteries, several times. I have tried resetting. It is still stuck on 'off'
