Window Lintel - this ain't right surely?

Thoughts on this guys please?



It's my Mum & Dads place and they want some French doors in place of this window but it seems to lack the 150mm span each side to my untrained eye or have I missed something??

I am guessing I'll have to put a new one in before I fit the doors.


Thoughts please?

No, be careful with these. I did a similar job a few years ago, and thought I'd got away with it then .... BAM. Luckily the people were out, so we scarpered quick and I changed my mobile number.
